ORLANDO, Fla. – September 11, 2014 – Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, today announced that it will be launching a series of product roadshows for travel suppliers in Texas that are intended to provide insight on Tourico travel products and share best practices for growing sales in the area. The workshops will be kicked-off on September 15 in Fort Worth and Dallas, where Tourico executives will introduce new products and strategies for growth to the hoteliers and travel providers in attendance. The next workshops in the series are scheduled to take place in Austin and San Antonio on September 16. The final Texas workshop will take place in Houston on September 17. “These product roadshows give us an opportunity to work more closely with our existing Texas hotel suppliers and to discuss where we can help them increase sales,” said Neil Emerson, Senior Vice President of Product Development for Tourico Holidays. “It’s also an opportunity for us to reach new suppliers in the region and introduce them to our technology – and explain how we can connect them with travelers from around the world.” According to Texas tourism data, domestic visitation to Texas increased by 6% in 2013 with 233.5 million travelers and international travelers visiting Texas increased by 10% in 2013.
